ENAR was established with the objective of developing engineering design capability and technical know-how in the country by participating in engineering design and construction work of projects in hydrocarbon processing and related process industry sectors.

ENAR has undertaken projects on complete responsibility basis covering Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) and commissioning activities, several EPC responsibility projects have been successfully undertaken and they are in operation from several years such as NRL Revamp-I (CDU), NRL Revamp-II (hydrobon/platforming), OGDCL's Dakhni Gas Processing Complex, NFC's Hazara Phosphate, OGDCL's Uch Gas Processing Facility, Kunnar LPG Plant, etc.
