Design Engineering & Project Execution
Process Engineering
ENAR has a very experienced Process Engineering Group performing all activities related to process plant engineering right from the start of the project and continuing right through until the startup. Some areas of expertise of this group are:- Conceptual Design & FEED Document Preparation
- Process Simulation
- Process Optimization Studies
- Plant Performance Evaluation
- Process Plant Debottlenecking, Revamping and Trouble Shooting Studies
- HAZOP and Safety Audit
- Complete process design of new plant, revamping and capacity enhancement of existing plant.
- Plant relocation and refurbishment studies
ENAR's Process Group is a complete, functional group fully capable and experienced in carrying out process design work from heat material balances right through to equipment specifications and engineering flow sheets.
A team of experienced process engineers is on hand with a background of experience in the engineering of oil and gas facilities and process plant, refineries and offsites and utilities facilities.
The process work generally consists of the following:
a) Establish heat and material balance.
b) Prepare utility balances such as steam balances.
c) Establish process flow and utility flow diagrams.
d) Prepare the P&IDs.
e) Prepare process design specification for all equipment or issue process duty specs (i.e. for the steam generation plant, demineralized water plant, etc.).
f) Prepare the instrument schedule.
g) Participate in plot plan layout studies when and if required.
h) Prepare a line schedule, showing all data related to piping.
i) Carryout sizing of piping
j) Check P&IDs for adequacy for startup, shutdown and safety.
k) Carryout hydraulic calculations for pumps and later confirm on actual layout.
l) Check compressor circuits for adequacy from pressure drops and later confirm using actual Vendor curves for compressors during detailed engineering.
m) Carryout hydraulics of re-boilers
In addition to above activities the process group:
a) Participates in bids tabulations and in equipment selection.
b) Specifies the safety valves and size of the discharge headers.
c) Prepares the detailed operating instruction manuals for all process units offsite and utility units
d) Provides process engineering/support as full supervision or assistance to startup operation and for attendance to the test runs in order to verify the performance guarantees.
e) Develop all those process optimization studies, which may be necessary or that have been requested by the Client.
