Environmental Assessments
ENAR's environmental experience covers both the upstream and the downstream sectors of the Oil and Gas industries and petroleum refineries. ENAR has prepared several ESSAs for oil transportation, gas/oil production facilities, including large grass roots refinery to be located in environmentally sensitive areas such as coastal region. ENAR has on its panel a group of senior experts in the field of oceanography, sociology, biology, etc., for the development of full fledge studies of Ecological effect of any human intervention. ENAR has produced several studies which were approved by international financial institutions.

- Environmental Impact Assessment Study (EIAS) for MOL for Gurguri Gas Processing Plant.
- Environmental Impact Assessment Study (EIAS) for ARL Taru Jabba Pipeline Project (from Rewat to Taru Jabba). This is 200 KM 12" multi product pipeline.
- Environmental Impact Assessment Study (EIAS) for Iran-Pak Refinery Project
- This is a 120,000 BPSD grass root refinery to be installed in Balochistan. The project was carried out as Sub-Contractor to M/s. ABB Lummus.
- Environmental Impact Assessment Study (EIAS) for PSO-Hyundai Grass Root Refinery.
- This is a 100,000 BPSD grass root refinery to be installed in coastal area of Pakistan. The project was carried out as Sub-Contractor to M/s. Stone & Webster.
- Review of a detailed Environmental Study carried out for EXIMP Bank of USA for re-locating Two Refineries from U.S.A. to Pakistan.
- Comprehensive report on Industrial Emission and Sequestering Impact of Climate Change in Pakistan, sponsored by Ministry of Industries & Production.
- Assisted M/s. KBN Engineering & Applied Science in carrying out an Environmental Impact Assessment for a Hydrocracker Project to be located at Karachi. All local input was provided by ENAR.
- Review of Environmental Impact Assessment for 50 Kms, 26" dia gas supply pipeline from Uch field to Dera Murad Jamali (Uch Power Plant site) carried out by DNV of Australia.
- Review of HAZOP/Environmental Impact Assessment for 340 MMSCFD gas processing plant at Uch carried out by Comprimo, Netherlands.
- Review of Environmental Impact Assessment for an 80 Kms Fuel Oil Pipeline carried out by M/s. Ebasco of USA for PSO.
- Preliminary Environmental Impact Assessment for LPG Storage and Handling Facility at Port Qasim.
- Preliminary Environmental Impact Assessment for an Alcohol Production Facility to be located in Sindh Province.
- Review of ground level SO2 concentration study carried out by Daves & More for a large flare at Uch.
